BBA in Global Hospitality Management courses

This hotel management degree takes place over seven semesters, two of which are spent in professional internships.

During the first semester of your global hospitality management degree, you will be immersed in the practical arts.

Your courses in Switzerland will include:

Professional internships give your hospitality management career a head start. Your first internship will expose you to roles and responsibilities in hospitality operations, such as service (restaurant, bars, room service) or rooms division (front office, housekeeping).

Upon your return from your first internship, you will take courses on hospitality fundamentals, including:

  • Hospitality Financial Accounting
  • Communicating Effectively (as per tested level)
  • Marketing for the Hospitality Industry
  • Fundamentals of Data Analysis and Visualisation
  • Managing Diversity in the Global Workplace
  • Principles of Sustainability and Innovation

In your fourth semester, you will continue to build your understanding of key hospitality principles. Your courses will include:

In your second professional internship, you will build your skills in hospitality management, project management, time management and communication.
You can spend this semester in any department or in cross-training. Hotels and restaurants are popular choices for the second internship, but students also choose other industries.
