Les Roches Marbella’s executive program in International Hotel Management in collaboration with the Hospitality Management Institute at BTU, provides an opportunity for working professionals to solidify their understanding of hospitality management fundamentals and gain expertise in the concepts that will shape the industry’s future. 

Through this blended postgraduate program, current industry professionals in Georgia will have the flexibility to combine their studies and existing career.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Students are required to complete 6 months of industry experience following the blended learning program either in their current position/ company or on an internship arranged by Les Roches Marbella.

During the academic 11 month term, through our blended learning model, students will complete 9 theory modules and 2 workshop modules, covering the fundamentals of business management and new concepts for today’s hospitality leaders.

Students will only be required to attend two week Hospitality Inmersion Program (HIP) in the Les Roches Marbella campus and will also complete the two workshop modules. The rest of the modules will be delivered by Les Roches Marbella faculty during 3 weekends a month, at the Hospitality Management Institute at BTU, allowing candidates to continue with their current career in tandem with the postgraduate program.

Students are required to complete 6 months of industry experience following the blended learning program either in their current position/ company or on an internship arranged by Les Roches Marbella.

Through this industry experience students will put their newly developed skills and knowledge into practice in an international hotel or hospitality establishment. Many students on internships will begin a management training program.

The Hospitality Management Institute -HMI- was established in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2017 on the grounds of the Business and Technology University.

The mission of the Business and Technology University is to provide students with a unique educational experience, develop their leadership as well as their entrepreneurial skills.

Age: Minimum 24 years old

Nationality: Applicants must residence in Georgia.

Education or experience: Applicants must hold an accredited bachelor degree or diploma (preferably in -but not limited to- the areas of Tourism, Business Administration, or Economics), and at least 4 years of work experience in a related industry.   Applications from non-degree candidates with a minimum of 5 years of documented work experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Non-degree holders will receive a Professional Development Diploma.

English qualifications: If you are not a native English speaker, or if you have not studied in an English language environment for at least 3 years, please enclose one of the following:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 525 points for the paper-based test or 70 for the internet-based test.
  • Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE): grade C – please also send the statement of results with your detailed profile.
  • IELTS: Academic Module minimum Overall Band Score 5.5 and min. 5.0 for each part (listening, reading, writing, speaking).
