Les Roches has just got bigger! A new Chicago campus will be added to our expanding portfolio of campuses to help reinforce Les Roches’ reputation as the only truly global hospitality management school.
At the moment, admissions for the 3.5-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Hotel Management are open exclusively to American passport or green card holders. Though everyone is welcome to attend the Summer Camp. As the only Swiss hospitality school to have a presence in the United States, we have already had a lot of interest from Americans living there and around the world. And adding to the buzz, are some major players in the hospitality industry itself.
Hyatt Hotels’ Kristy Seidel, Director of Talent Acquisition- Americas recently said:
On behalf of the many Hyatt properties and our colleagues around the world, we welcome Les Roches to the United States and more specifically to our home town of Chicago. We look forward to our continued relations and look forward to expanding with greater placements in the US.
The President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Radha Arora, himself a Les Roches alumnus, expressed a similar sentiment: “Rosewood and Les Roches enjoy a long and successful relationship. We are therefore thrilled to support Les Roches Chicago in the launch of their new campus which will bring world-class standards of excellence to the U.S.”
There are many good reasons why Chicago is a great place to launch a new campus. Chicago is a leading center for business, finance and hospitality both in the United States and internationally. It is the perfect U.S. location for Les Roches students seeking successful careers in these industries.
Here are a few facts and figures about Chicago that say it all:
Millions of visitors go to Chicago each year – the city expects to receive 55 million visitors, supporting 30,000 jobs by 2020 – making Chicago a brilliant place for entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector to start their businesses.
Do you know anyone who would be interested in joining our latest Les Roches adventure?
