Cultural Night, the most impressive, elegant and exquisite event of the semester, has been a great success for the past 33 years. Organized by the BBA7 Events stream, the event is planned and realized with passion, dedication and ambition, in order to create an unforgettable experience for us, Les Roches students. Counting 93 different nationalities, we are proud to present our culture to VIPs, the faculty, and our fellow students. By showing our traditional dances and preparing dishes from our exceptional cuisine, we represent our countries with pride.
We practice for hours to deliver a wonderful show, discuss and plan our culinary stand in the utmost detail, and carry all our hard work out on the 26th of October 2013. This year the international buffet in the main building counts 15 stands of different countries from all over the world, while 5 cultures will perform their show in Le Regent in Crans Montana.
Cultural Night not only persuades students to learn about different nationalities but also opens doors to new beginnings, learning not only to socialize with other nationalities but to work with others too. Cultural Night is a night of discovery, passion, patriotism, encounters, emotions, definitely an unforgettable evening. Cultural Night is about sharing culture’s traditions, creating emotional connections and enlighten our guests with incredible cultural flair. This semester the students from BBA7 have designed the theme Culture on Postcards, which characterize the Les Roches community, offering our guests the feeling of discovering the entire world during this prestigious evening.
To motivate our fellow students to participate, prizes for the best performance, best stand and best food are given at the end of the night. With the help of local sponsors such as restaurants and luxury shops, the prizes vary from dinner vouchers to luxurious products – one competition that will make you heart pound. ‘Make your country proud’ has been the main slogan of Cultural Night and has motivated students over years to deliver an exceptional performance and create artistic food stands.
