Russian and Georgian media visit Les Roches International School of Hotel Management

High end media from Russia and Georgia such as ‘ Komersant Dengi’, ‘ Ria Novosti’ in Moscow and ‘Georgia Today’ in Tbilisi visited early September Les Roches, one of the leading hospitality schools in the world for an international career.

The group of journalists had a busy program during their visit to Les Roches in Bluche, Switzerland. They discovered the campus facilities and interviewed students from different programs and nationalities, including from their region. The media attended a practical class where they tested different wines learning how to match them with food.

They also had the opportunity to meet the representatives of the academics and the management of Laureate Hospitality Education; Les Roches being one of the eight institutions part of Laureate Hospitality Education (LHE), a leading hospitality education group in the world. Present in five countries and four continents, LHE provides different transfer options as well as opportunities to study abroad.

“This visit is very important for us as we understand now that hospitality is much more than hotels but that students can work in finance or for other famous brands like Louis Vuitton.” said one of the journalists present.

To complete the visit of the institution, the media group headed to Lausanne to visit the Beau Rivage Palace and to Geneva to visit the President Wilson and Four Season to interview students and Les Roches Alumni at work. It was very important for them to understand what kind of career or internship possibilities there are for the Les Roches students.

Many media from around the world come each year to visit Les Roches and meet with the faculty and some of its students coming from almost 100 different nationalities.
