Les Roches International School of Hotel Management is launching a new ‘Leadership Series’ this semester. The concept is to invite tourism and hospitality professionals to the campus to give insights on current hospitality trends to students and start topical discussions. Mr. Malcom Turner, Former Vice President Technical Services, Hyatt International began the series on October 27th.

The famous hospitality management school located in Switzerland is launching its “Leadership Series” and had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Malcom Turner, Former Vice President Technical Services, Hyatt International on campus. The hospitality professional started a discussion with students about “What happens behind the scenes”. He showed the future workforce what is going on behind the opening of a new hotel, including all of the steps from inception to completion. ‘It’s wonderful for hotel school graduates to emerge from long academic and practical years, and be confronted with such an array of beautiful and diverse urban buildings and graceful resorts in which there is an opportunity to work. But how did they ever get there in the first place?’ explains Malcom Turner.

This event was the first of the series which will take place a few times per year on the Les Roches campus. Other keynote speakers from the hospitality or tourism industry will come throughout the year to discuss with the future leaders of the hospitality industry about the professional world.
