At.mosphere, the highest restaurant above ground level in the world – only in Dubai!

As Les Roches Alumna Christina Sang’08 is moving forward to meet a new challenge in the Armani Hotel Dubai, she looks back with fond memories of her experience of working for the At.mosphere, the highest restaurant above ground level in the world.

This exclusive fine-dining restaurant and lounge is located at a height of 442 metres (1,350 ft), on Level 122 of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. The stylish At.mosphere grill can accommodate 80 guests, including a private dining room that can seat 12 people. Open every day, it offers a full a la carte menu for lunch and dinner, providing a large choice of freshly sourced and prepared beef, organic poultry and seafood.

The At.mosphere lounge is a chic venue, in deep shades of amethyst, open throughout the week and can seat 130 guests. It serves light lunches and high tea, before turning into a vibrant spot in the evening. Guests can enjoy a premium range of beverages, and unwind to lounge music, spun by the in-house DJ. It opens to panoramic views of Dubai serving as the ideal venue to watch the sunset.

Christina describes her adventure at At.mosphere as being one of the most amazing experiences. Having watched it grow from a barren cement space with rubble and construction, she saw the establishment take shape from nothing to become what is now, one of the most unique, beautiful and glittering F&B outlets in the world. From the pre-opening stages to opening the outlet, it has been one of the most challenging and amazing realizations that she has been involved with. One of her greatest achievements was when her idea in reaching out to the Guinness World Records in order to adjudicate At.mosphere for “the highest restaurant from ground level”- was made a reality through great support of the company. Throughout the previous year with At.mosphere, Christina handled her job scope of PR/Marketing, sales and all events for At.mosphere and she feels truly privileged to have been part of such an elite project team.
