SUMMARY
INTENSIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
This program gives intensive instruction in English to raise the level of students who do not meet the requirements to enter one of our undergraduate or postgraduate programs. The course will provide you with relevant skills in English reading comprehension, listening skills, speech and writing and introduces the hospitality vocabulary and concepts.
PROGRAM & COURSE OVERVIEW
The Intensive English Language Program will consist of the following:
- A minimum of 5 periods of English instruction per day, including general language development and technical English for hotel management.
- Tutorial classes for a one-on-one approach.
Courses will consist of the following:
- Writing Skills
- Grammar Focus
- English Skills
- Reading Skills
- Tourism and Culture
- Listening Skills

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Students need to be enrolled in one of our undergraduate program (Hotel Management Diploma, BBA) or postgraduate program in order to attend the Intensive English Language Program.
We require the following:
- English level in order to attend our Intensive English Language course as follows:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 400 points for the paper based test, 97 points for the computer based test and 32 on the internet-based test. The TOEFL testing code number for Les Roches is 9827.
- Cambridge: need to have the Preliminary English Test (PET).
- I.E.L.T.S. Students minimum overall band of 4.0.
